Best remodel experience we have ever had. The oversight, careful workmanship and ownership of the project was above expectations. Our design team was amazing. We also had the same person do all the work start to finish and was a total Pro. Could not recommend enough and will be doing any and all projects through them. This place is a gem.

Leaving a long overdue review. Linda helped us remodel our bathroom and kitchen last year. We also did some flooring improvements, and some electrical and plumbing work along the way. The pricing was very reasonable, and we appreciated that Linda was always conscious of our budget, when we made adjustments to our plan. The work was delivered very quickly on promised timelines. She had some really good suggestions around the choice of flooring, which we are thankful for (especially looking back after a year). Also appreciate her sense of style.. it helped us make the right choices for countertops, tiles and fixtures. It all looks great, our guests often comment on how beautiful our kitchen looks. Thank you!

Overall I enjoyed working with Linda and her team. Even though there were no major redesign of spaces and I knew exactly what tile/fixtures/cabinets etc I wanted I still was appreciative of her insight on certain details and choices. It was very easy to collaborate with her. She makes an effort to be in-tune with a client. She was very responsive and took care of everything that needed attention as soon as she was able too. She made sure that I was listened to and taken care of as a client with her subcontractors. I would work with her again.

Questions about building a separate living unit

What issues should I address before building an accessory dwelling unit for Accessory Dwelling Unit Construction?

Privacy screening, zoning rules, drainage, utility capacity, and fire separation should be addressed before construction begins. These items influence placement, layout, systems, and construction details. We review them during planning and explain how each point affects the proposed unit. Customers can then request a quote with a clearer project direction.

How does the property layout shape the unit plan?

The property layout shapes the unit's placement, access, window positions, and connection to the main home. We review the available area and intended use before design choices are finalized. Customers should also consider how people will enter the unit and how its rooms will work together. Those decisions guide materials and construction coordination.

Which parts of an accessory unit can change the quote?

The unit's layout, property conditions, materials, finishes, and construction requirements change the quote. We discuss these factors before preparing a project estimate. Customers who bring a clear use plan can make design decisions with better context. The final quote follows the agreed scope and selected details.

When should I request an assessment for this project?

Request an assessment before choosing a fixed layout or ordering materials. Early planning gives us time to discuss the unit's purpose, access, drainage, utility capacity, fire separation, and privacy screening. Customers also get a clearer view of the construction tasks and finishing choices. That makes the next project decision more informed.

Why does fire separation matter in a separate living unit?

Fire separation matters because the new living space must be planned with separation between connected areas. We include this issue in the early construction discussion, along with layout and system needs. Customers should raise the intended relationship between the unit and main home before selecting finishes. That keeps safety-related planning connected to the wider project.
